Setup, Operation, and Maintenance Instructions
Setup Instructions
Print out step by step instructions. Printed instructions provided with Air Cooler!
Operating Instructions
1. Fill cooler with 3 Liters of chilled water
2. Add ice to maximum fill line 1" below the plastic internal fittings
Note: Cold packs (i.e. Lunch ice packs or plastic ice cubes) may be substituted for ice.
**NOTE: The more ice and the colder the starting water utilized, the longer the unit will work before new ice and water are required to maintain comfortable operating temperature.
3. Repeat procedure when ice melts, as necessary.
Daily Maintenance Instructions
1. Empty cooler and condensate trap daily. Tilt cooler on the side to empty condensate trap after emptying cooler.
**NOTE: If you detach the hoses to accomplish the above step, ensure they are securely refitted.
2. Reattach cooler and run pump for 5 minutes, or until the interiors of the hoses are dry.
**NOTE: Chamber need not be pressurized; only airflow through the hoses is required to clear condensation.
3. Lean the cooling unit upside down to allow to drip dry - overnight
CAUTION!
NEVER leave lid on when cooling unit is not in use.
DO NOT leave water or ice in the unit when not in use, or for prolonged periods of time.
**NOTE: Mold and mildew will accumulate in and/or on the hose, cooling unit and other attached apparatus, if the cooling unit is not emptied and dried daily.
